Published by St. Martin's Essentials on July 9, 2019

The Kindness Method is the key to breaking unwanted habits--for good! Combining her own therapeutic style, personal experiences, and techniques learned from working in the field of substance abuse, Shahroo Izadi shares simple steps that strengthen your willpower like a muscle, allowing you to sustain your motivation and make lasting change in your life.
Shahroo's completely non-judgmental process for mapping and channeling your habits is based on the principle of treating yourself with the compassion and understanding that it is often only reserved for other people. From procrastination to issues of body image, this method works by creating a custom plan--mapped by you, for you, and driven by self-motivation.

Leann’s Thoughts

A gentle and compassionate book on kindness to help transform your life. Shahroo Izadi’s voice is very clear and soothing throughout this book. Her examples from her professional life and the way she non-judgementally speaks of her life show that she walks her talk.
Her premise is that by changing our habits, we can become kinder and I couldn’t agree more. I love how she has everything mapped out in the book so that you’re not relying on willpower.
She gives the reader permission to be kind to ourselves and be gentle with ourselves as we’re in the process of changing a habit.
A great read if you feel like you’ve been too hard on yourself and it’s time for a change.
